ANNOUNCING A NEW ASSOCIATION
is proud to announce its new professional association with: Linda Orozco, Ph.D. & Reem Labib, M.Ed.
Linda Orozco: Dr. Orozco is an expert in training school administrators and other education professionals. Her focus is on organizations, programs and curricular/instructional delivery systems to serve diverse populations of children including immigrant children, children from impoverished backgrounds and, of course, children with disabilities. Dr. Orozco has trained school administrators from very diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in various global venues. Dr. Orozco's skills will enhance DPS’s policy recommendation capacities. She can formulate entire special education core curriculum for pedagogical universities and other educational settings as well as courses in training-the-trainers in appropriate techniques to serve various vulnerable groups of children with disabilities.
Reem Labib: Ms. Labib has more than 12 years experience in urban education primarily working with students with special needs in Reem has participated as a team member in school quality reviews for six years evaluating schools serving students in grades PreK-12. She has served as head of schools supervising multiple principals, principal of an inclusive arts-infused elementary school and also as deputy director of professional development for a school district. Reem has a master’s in education with a specialization in curriculum and instruction with a focus on multicultural education.
